Heh. That's where our characters will be if they survive a couple more
years. A very effective way of keepin' us munchkins reined in. Terry: "I
wanna call my fixer to see if I can get an Ares HVAR". GM: "Sorry, hasn't
been invented yet".

I was actually thinking of starting a campaign set in the 2030s when the
first cyberdecks were out and there were fewer magicians (basically so I
could do some runs with my Decker character to get some history for him
for when I play in the 2050s.

Those first cyberdecks were kind of BIG... the SR timeline says the first
convienently sized cyberdeck didn't come out until the '40s...

Nice idea. Problem for the decker though, those early cyberdeck
were a) the size of small truck b) speed was the equivilent of modern
386. But the idea about the history really grabs my interest...
