In Shadowrun if you're not using some kind of DNI with simsense you're SOL
and running as a tortoise. Sorry, thanks for playing, come again ;)~ Even a
'trode connection still has you in the dumps of tortoises (with their insane
penalties).
Seriously, its just a way to make the whole thing a little more exciting.
Although given how most groups (from what I understand) don't bother to use
the Matrix much because it essentially adds an entire layer to the game, I
don't think it had quite the intended effect. The Marix may help in this
regard but who knows.
