I think that Dog is "Manfriend" or "Mutt" to be honest. I've heard
Bear be
referred to "Great Bear Mother". Spider is "Old Weaver" and
"Weaver of
Dreams", and of course "Savior" to Hopi. Wolf is "Gray Brother"
often times
also, though I think that Rat and Wolf would get different opinions on having
related names (smirk).

Cat is Cat.

Raven is MANY things, including some of what I've picked up from Arizona ...
Trickster, Planner, Keeper of Rainbows, Devourer, Magician, Creator.

I know that Snake has a lot of names from the Hopi, Zuni and Pima tribes of
the southwest.

Sorry, but I think you deserved that one...
Besides, how could it soar gracefully through the clouds and strike like
lighting if it only had one feather?

Actually, he's "Great One" "Messenger" and
"Brother-in-the-Sky" (which is a
loose translation from the Navajo, I think.
