Here's something of passing interest to those Shadowrun GMs
aspiring for a more technical game. A former JPL mathematician (don't
remember the name right now) has figured out a way to get to the moon
other than using a brute-force Hohman-transfer (like we did back in
'69). The method just about doubles the payload, saves 33% in fuel, and
takes about 5 months.
Makes it possible for an underwing missile lauched from a bomber
to carry a significant payload to Luna.
