The movie is a must see for action fans. Or Arnie fans, or mayhem fans,ect...
I admit that I had to suspend disbelief early on, but the movie was a GREAT
ride....

I agree that this movie is a must-see for arnie or action fans. It has a
believable plot, some wonderful spoofs of James Bond and the spy business
in general (plus Jamie Lee Curtis baring more than usual :-), and shows
once and for all how the Harrier is the single most versitile and useful
aircraft in the world (although I think the A-10 has more bang:buck).

Heh. No argument from me, just some facts: the A-10s in Desert Storm did as
much as the F-16s, AV-8s, F/A-18s, and F-4Gs combined, including air-to-air
kills (shot down two Soviet built gunships with their own guns, before any
F-16s had A-to-A kills), battlefield interdiction missions up to 80 miles
into Iraqi territory, anti-armor and anti-SCUD hunting missions, wild
weasel missions against SAM sites, Forward Air Control missions, as well as
the Close Air Support over the ground troops that it was designed to do. A
common phrase amongst the wing comanders was "you're asking an A-10 to do
WHAT?!" The Hogs earned the designation 'RFOA-10G."

Don't get me wrong..I LOVED the movie..But you must have been practicing
belief suspension about those harriers..They would have run out of gas
Long before Arnie got to where he was going...Then it would have been a
lawn dart..

Hush. You just didn't see him stop at the Amoco station on the way into
town.

And, you know, she still looks good for a woman of her years! I hope I
am in as good a shape as her in 20 years.

And the matte shots were great. To the normal viewer it looked as if
Arnie was actually flying the plane in Miami. Wow! You gotta love that
James Cameron :-)

And who would have believed that I would actually like Tom Arnold in
something? What a dancer! ;-)

Both. Arnie is in there doing his normal arnie stuff. Tom is in there
doing a VERY GOOD job as Arnie's spy partner.
