Okay, here's my entry. I changed the motif just a tad. And, it's all a
first draft effort.

Let me be the first to say "I like mine better!" ;-)

The link to Deal.gif is broken - it's referring to:

Good, good. But fix that link. I want to see that dragon!

BTW, we should put all these entries in one place so people can see
them, comment on them, and eventually vote on them.

I can do it (I have the webspace) but my HTML skills suck, and I am a
sloth shaman. :)

So, any volunteers?

Drat!

If someone does some artwork, but doesn't have a website to put it on, feel
free to email it to me *personally* and I'll put it on my site.

Other than that I think it's easier if individual put it on their own web
sites for easy access to make changes.

Now, if someone would volunteer to put links to all the T-shirt art on
their site....

Can you do links? :)

It's supposed to be the joker card cut in half, which is what a

I'll set up the beta version of said site this evening. Until the
individual artists give me their okay (off-list, please; it's noisy
enough around here already) I'll just have links, not the actual
artwork. I'll try to track down a "voting" script so I don't have
to write one.

I just thought of a way to story board everything.

"Watch Your Back": Decker is blissfully decking while an elf sneaks
up behind him.

"Shoot Straight": The picture Michael Harrison has (decker caught in
the sites of a smartgun).

"Conserve Ammo": The decker whiping his brow in relief, outlined by
bullet holes on the wall behind him with the targeting site pointing
off to the side and an "out of ammo" message from the smart gun link.

"And Never, Ever, Cut a Deal with a Dragon": The elf trying to
return the gun over a shop counter while the dragon shop owner points
at the sign that says "No Refunds!"

What do you think?

Is this the same sneaky little elf from "Watch Your Back"? I was
wondering, to maybe continue the Little Loser Decker theme, we could
have him trying to return a deck or a gun or whatever... hmmm. Just a
thought (the idea is the coolest, though.)

I can just see it! A little name tag: "Hello, my name is LOFWYR." :)

Also, I got a few emails telling me that the crosshairs on the "Shoot
Straight" cartoon should be red. We should probably discuss the color
issue. So far, I think we're limited to about three colors. Does that
include black. Or white, if the shirt itself is black.

Wow. Speaking of THAT, what color SHOULD the t-shirt be? Heheheh.

How about Saedder Kruppe or one of the other megacorps (including the DFMR,

If the crosshairs are going to be red, which would look excellent, the shirt
should probably be white, with blank ink and the red crosshairs, so that the red
can show up well.

Falling back on the others, the first three were black, the last one was
an off-white color. I don't think white(ish) is all that suitable for SR
shirts, though. Something dark would be better, IMHO.

I second that. I'm not going to be wearing the '97 one in public, simply
because it's this off-white cream colour that I don't like at all.

It'd be nice to finish with the elf to show that no matter which end of the

Agreed... Depending on the artwork we go with, I'd like Black or a Dark
Blue... Let's face it, Black is a much better color than white (or off
white:)) for most of us "stinky" gamers :]

BTW: Since I missed the 97 T-SHirt thread when they came in... Let's just
say that the red background for the artwork does not work well with the
off-white/tan t-shirt. Looks too damn pink :]

to everyone interested in T-Shirt Art:

hi there

i just got my settings for the list straight (so now i AM receiving
messages) and saw that there was T-shirt talk. I have to say that this
is something I've always wanted to do so I submit myself as an artist
candidate. Please view some of my artwork at:
members.tripod.com/~glenn_royer
I have a selection of specifically shadowrun related art at:
members.tripod.com/~glenn_royer/SR_pics

I must note that these images were done when I was interested in doing a
web page... which was quite some time ago. this t-shirt opportunity
will cause me to scan some of my newer SR-related sketches.
this represents my facility in traditional media. My computer generated
work deals in montage. examples can be found within
members.tripod.com/~glenn_royer
and
www.rsad.edu/~groyer (very recent)
please email if you would like to see larger scale versions of these.
