They'll probably have to be a bit more detailed than just simple lines.
"Watch your back" could be as simple as a mildly-fleshed-out figure
looking over his shoulder.

"Conserve ammo" could be the tricky one. Will they be captioned, or will
we leave the non-shadowrunners in the dark?

"Conserve ammo" would be as simple as a bullet surrounded by the
"recycling" triple arrow (I'm assuming that's an international symbol)-
a really bad visual pun, I know.... (Does that work in other languages
?)
Easy to lift from current signage, too.

I think "watch your back" would be two figures back to back, guns up.
Or a large "eye" behind a figures back- again, easily lifted from
current signage in any safety catlogue.

"Never deal with a dragon" would IMO best be a "stick" dragon"
eating a
"stick" runner, head first. "Harder" art, but funny as hell, given the
first two.

HMM, I may work this up as a GIF, just for the hell of it.

I think most non-English languages use the English word (I know Dutch
does, but then we have too many English loan-words anyway).

Yep. I like this idea, too.

Also a good idea, and easier to do than having a stick figure look over
its shoulder.

"Shoot straight" could be a gunsight on a stick figure's head.

For this one, though, I prefer the idea of having a runner and a dragon
stand next to each other, one giving something to the other (easy enough
to draw, if you can draw a stick dragon), and putting a cross through it,
or perhaps like a traffic sign: a circle around the picture and a diagonal
bar across it.

Same here...

This is what I envisioned. I love you guys tossing my idea around.
I can't wait to see it.
