Ok, it looks like the shirt thing is actually going to happen, eh?
Can someone summerize for me the contents of the shirt (ie, graphics,
text, colors, etc.) as well as the probable cost? Thanks.

Still waiting for Rob to figure out the prices...

The design, as it exists now, has the SR2 "ramskull" logo on the front, with
the addresses of the four mailing lists around it.
The back has a Shadowrun logo (without the skull) at the top, and "Mailing
Lists" underneath that. Then follow the titles, names and addresses of
Robert Hayden and Dr. Doom, underneath which are the other three officials
of these lists, with their functions but without addresses: J.D. Falk, Marc
Imbriaco (sp?) and Daniel Waisley. Then we have three columns with the names
of everyone who's paid for the shirt (so far, that is nobody as we don't
know the cost yet), and on the very right is "1995" vertically.

For those that are interested, here's what I could find...

Local (Omaha, NE, USA) t-shirt provider:
For 75-90 shirts (72 is the price-break point)
base shirt costs (50/50 blend):
white shirts - $7.75
colored shirts - $9.20
tie-die shirts - $15.25
printing costs (no screen or set-up fees)
+$.50 per color
additional costs
XXL + $1.50
XXXL + $2.50

An example: black shirt + two color image front + one color image back +
small one color image on sleeve = $11.20 per shirt (XL or smaller)

Quick check on shipping:
Domestic Priority Mail + Delivery Confirmation
= $3.20 + $.35 = $3.55 (up to 2 lbs)
Australia Global Priority = $4.95 (up to 4 lbs.)
Great Britain/Germany Global Priority = $3.75 (up to 4 lbs.)

hope that helps,

Looks good after a quick scan through...but...a question at the end.

And a nice one at that.

Cotton/Poly I presume? The shirts we have could be that -OR- a truly
preshrunk 100 cotton (one of which I made for myself).

Okay, here's my question. You are doing the adding "per color", not "per
image". Imaging and location and number of is where things get expensive.
Please, if you would, get that clarification for us.

Please note folks, that the envelope(s) for these kind usually take up to 1
pound automatically. Heavier or sturdier ones are often the full pound.

Yes, it does indeed. It sounds good actually to me. Get that clarification
if you could though.

"per color" IS "per image" - if an image has multiple colors, it
require multiple screens. I think "no screen or set-up fees" pretty much
covers it- any thing we want screened, that can fit on one screen, is 50
cents. Seems like a very good deal: I'd like the name of this place, to
produce my own runs of other shirt designs (non ShadowRN related) in small
batches. Hell- its cheaper than buying them in stores!

Maybe the phrase 'per color/per image' would have been more appropriate.

The place is:
Koala Tee Custom Sportswear
10935 Harrison Street
LaVista NE 68128
(402)592-8158

Also of note, Mongoose, smaller runs go up in the 'cost per shirt' catagory.

Actually Mongoose, it is not the same. Especially if we decide to go for a
two sided (front and back) style of artwork depiction. Depending on the size
of the images, it might mean multiple setups/screenings. Yet another example
of who(m) is doing the work too I suppose.

Yeppers, Cotton/Poly. I, too, prefer 100% cotton, but experience dictates
that is not a popular choice when printing shirts (I seem to recall me and
one other that wanted cotton convention shirts in the past).

If you add it up you'll see that the two color image counts as two colors
in the price scheme. Add (the total colors on the back) plus (the total
colors on the front) plus (the total colors on the left sleeve) plus (the
total colors on the right sleeve) to find out how many colors you'll be
charged for.

After researching some actual printed info (as opposed to phone calls),
Global Priority will be $6.95US to Western Europe.

Speaking of T-shirts what sizes can they be gotten in? I've asked a couple
of time and haven't gotten a response.

Historically, the Germans had a habit of associating the names of objects
with the sounds they made. In keeping with this tradition when cannons
were first made they became known as the bum for boom! The first 100-
pound bomb was dubbed "ein lautes Bumm " a loud boom!" After the first
atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, they called the fission device
"ein grosses Bumm " or a big loud boom!" The next obvious step was the
fusion, or H-bomb, which was pronounced
"ein grosses lautes Bumm all ist kaput!"

I priced up through XXXL. I believe that the larger you go, the more
limited your shirt color choices become.
In the past, if the size of choice wasn't available in the color or
choice, I know that we (the convention) have had customers track down and
supply thier own shirt. The printers didn't seem to have a problem with this.
