Well, the anounced buyout of TSR by WOTC in April, has finally been finalized.

Also, they are finally on the ball with the Gen Con info, though ATM things
are still sketchy. Here's a snippet from the Gen Con FAQ:

Have the preregistration books been sent yet?

No. They got bark from the printer on 06/02, and should be sent soon.

When will preregistration books be available?

Now that they've been printed, once they ship, those people that have
requested them
will be at the mercy of the post office. We are working on converting the
book to an
online/downloadable format.

How long does it take them to arrive?

They are sent fourth-class, so it sometimes takes two to four weeks within the
continental US. Most people will get their books some time in late June or
early July.

Will preregistration books be available online?

Yes. They will be available here for download as PDF (Adobe Acrobat) and
RTF (Rich
Text Format/Microsoft Interchange Format) files. If you are outside the US,
you might
want to review the online prereg book when making event selections,
otherwise the
events you want might be closed by the time you get your book.
