Actually, if the parents are elves, it is almost guaranteed,
I believe SRII says that in the case of twins (which is common among
elves), only one is an elf. As for the other one, it could end up as
just about anything, even human (gasp!).

On the subject of twins, they are common for elves, but the second one is
usually not elven or viable.

Orks bear broods of 4, 6, or even 8, but they are not identical siblings. It
is not unheard of for one of these children to come out as a Human and there is
a 5% chance that the child would not express the metatype in his lifetime.

Dwarfs and Trolls both have children that are almost exclusively of their
metatype.

Note that by the simple rules of genetics, identical twins would usually be
of the same metatype, which means if one expressed the other most likely would
also.

Now, for your insect problem, I advise that you use Mana based combat spells,
which will clear out those pathetc Willpower 1 & 2 Workers and Soliders. For
queens I advise REALLY BIG GUNS (Rockets, Assualt Cannons and MG's on full
auto) and Weapon Foci (which are always useful).

Elves

Young: USUALLY ONE, though twins are common. Saying that twins are common but
single children are the most usual means that twins are probably more common
than when Sapiens Sapiens have them - but it does NOT mean that twins are
guaranteed. Plus - in such case as the birth of twins - one will be Nobilis and
the other usualy non-viable (ie dead) now there is no mention of what the dead
twin normally is - whether identicle, elven or other metahuman.
