Very true. One of the problems with Undernet #Shadowrun is that it's very
much so a community inside a community now - even more accurate, several
communities inside of a larger community. I can think of a few ways for
this to get "fixed", and in truth I'm already working on implementing them.

On the other hand, most of the time I'd rather see people hanging out and
chatting about music or movies (Even though I hate movies) or PSX games or
School or other RPGs than sitting there doing nothing in #Shadowrun...
assuming that they're willing to shove that aside for a few minutes if
someone tries to spark a SR discussion or ask a quetion.

I agree; I try to refrain from this as much as possible, especially on the
list. (I don't even think I had mentioned that I had finally gotten the
chance to actually write for SR until earlier this week on the list..)

I've said this to a few people and on the list lately, but I think you're
very right. Rulebooks and Adventures and Year and a Half Old Rumours aren't
really all that interesting and discussion of them isn't near as
interesting as it will be once YoTC and some of the other upcoming books
make it out.
