Ok, this won;t really answer your question, and chances are, you won;t get
your question answered in any official capacity, other than to say that the
writers, especially of some of the older sourcebooks, didn;t always do
their homework.
Basically, you can expect 2 major changes to the system in the next year,
as well as at least one minor one. The 2 biggies, are RBB2 (of course),
and the Magic system. Rigger 2 will be out next month sometime, so you
don;t really have to wait for that, but all those fun Magic Questions that
we ask about all the time, basically Mike told us during the Q&A to wait
for SR3, since they're changing how everything is defined, so that certain
things make sense.
So I guess the key [hrase for this list until next Gen Con is WU3 (Wait
until 3rd Edition:))
