I believe the companion is finished, as is MiTS, and that all that needs to
be done is layout and printing. (Layout for MiTS may be finished. Not sure,
I don't snoop in the FASA office:)

This is the latest schedule they posted on AOL:

New Seattle -- January
First Run -- February -- An adventure pack for first players and GMs.
Crossroads -- February -- by Steve Kenson
Revised Shadowrun Companion -- February -- This will be updated and
compatibile with SR3, as well as including some new material.
MitS -- March
Corporate Download -- May
The Forever Drug -- April -- by Lisa Smedman)
Untitled -- June -- This product will be a set of SR 'quick-start' rules, for
beginners and experienced gamers alike.
Man & Machine -- August
Untitled2 -- September -- This will be an adventure set, based on the
Corporate Download sourcebook.
The Cannon Companion October
Untitled3 -- December -- This product has not yet been finalized.

Interesting. I've talked to a couple of game shops in Florida and
Carolinas that don't have a firm date for it yet.

Still can't believe they are releasing the companion before MITS,
and Kenson most likely had the magic stuff fleshed out before
SR3 was published. Grumble....Grumble....

This is another odd one. Bioware hasn't been updated since
SR1. And yet the corporate download book comes out first, even
though we have an adventure framework for the corps from
BiB. My thinking it should be MITS,M&M and then whatever
else they want. No offense the companion was an interesting
book, but I considered alot of it optional or enhacements, not
the "core" like initiation or bioware.
<Grumble> Ok...sorry needed to get the rant out of my
system...apologize for that.
Sheesh..you'd think I was trying to be the list member grumpy
lately.

Well, the position is largely vacant since Erik went and got a life...I
don't want it. You may have just volunteered for it by default.

No, no, no... Erik's "will" left the title of list.member.grumy to Spike.

Oh.

Well, as long as there was a clear line of succession, and it was all
done nice and legal-like, who the hell am I to step in and thwart his
will?

Actually, I think Spike had been a sort of list.member.grumpy.in.training
for some time and Erik's "will" just promoted him to full
list.member.grumpy... Does this make list.member.grumpy similar to Dark
Lord of the Sith (ie, you have to get rid of your predecessor before you
can take over? ;)?
