Right now my dwarf is in the biggest pot of ganu available.

How does the HHMV virus work, currently under our system the
virus does not trigger until the individual is dead or has an essence
of 0. What apparently it does is transfer part of its' genetic code
to the (normally unwilling) recipient. When a character reachs
either of the conditions mentioned well, 'el vampire here we come.

would you use the genetic reconstruction, cleansing or healing
mentioned in the Biotech book. My character (thakfully) still has a
genetic sample from before he was bitten. The only way that I can see
that another virus is generated that replaces the faulty DNA.

Which brings up another point, is the transfer magical in
nature cause otherwise it might cause even more problems...

Final question, what do dwarves become when the HHMV takes effect ??

Odd
Oh-no, Look what you've done now.... The end of the world is com..

i think you have to be drained to zero and 'a bit more' by a vampire
in order to become one.
(same for other types)

Some hints have been dropped on folks working on things related to
this but nothing useful on how to go about that.

It does say under vampire that there were indictaions that the virus
and vampires existed before the awakening but only reached full
virulence in the presence of mana. Therefore the transmission and
vamperism mechanism is probably normal science but the virus includes
a meta active part that actually gives the enhanced powers that only
becomes active in high mana environments.
