One thing we've done with regen, and this is a house rule, mind you, is to
limit it some. The Vampire (or whatever) regenerates his entire phyusical
and stun damage at the strat of each turn UNLESS the players can kill him in
one hit, basically. Once he's dead, however, he's dead. He does get to
make a body test though, using the physical overflow to avoid death...
Hmmm, make it a bit easier, but not very fragging much, especially when
you're a new character...
