Ok, I've finally gotten around to playing a Vampire character, using the
rules I did up way back when.... And already a few questions that I never
really thought about came up regarding Vampire Powers:

Mist Form: How mobile are you, and what kind of speed do you have?

Enhanced Physical Atrributes: Is this to all attributes, or just one at a
time? Also, how long does this last, or is it just "always on"?

I've always played this as no faster than a brisk walk plus you can do neat
things like go under doors and enter non-sealed environments (like a car or
through vents).

Not sure what the SR3 rules are since they have nothing in the core book
per se.

All Attributes. The description of Enhanced Physical Attributes in
Critters (p. 9) says that the power may be limited in duration or
number of uses, but there is no mention of either of those conditions
in the Vampire's description. Therefore, I believe it's always on.

It lasts as long as you have essence. The enhanced physical attribute is
related to the amount of essence you have, more essence more points on your
attributes. I believe you loose 1 essence point per month if you don't feed.
As soon as you feed you can regain those essence points and more (up to
twice your normal essence or something).

I don't think it says anywhere; the character's normal movement rate (i.e.
Quickness in meters per turn) seems a good speed to me. You might want to
make this relative to the wind speed rather than to the ground, BTW :)

Unless there is some kind of restriction (as for the domovoi or the fenrir
wolf, for example), it's always on and adds to all three physical
attributes.

I have two ideas on this one. The first is that you move at normal speed or
quickness x 3 (just to keep things under control from a GM standpoint). The
second is the logic that your body has almost no weight/mass now and the
movement would come from it's link to your astral form which can move on the
astral plane. Using that logic you could move as fast as astral form, but
more likely something significantly slower as your mist form is still
subject to friction and impact (so I guess the speed of a fighter plane). I
would also expect that at faster speeds you run the potential of separating
the forms in the case of an accident which could seriously suck for your
character.

My understanding was that Vamps get essence level bonus to their physical
attributes all of the time. They lose essence at a rate defined in one of
the books (PAoE) and thus your bonus drops as you wait between feedings.

We've always played it being the same as the character in question's own
speed. We've allowed for "3-Dimensional" movement, but at a reduced rate,
similar to the Bayard's abilities.

Unless it is stated otherwise, the ability is always "on". Vampires have
only Strength in the rules, Wendigo have all physical abilities (IIRC).
Banshees' don't have any boosted abilities.
