For Matt Fullenwider:
The Denver module has been pretty cool so far. I don't know if it would
be the thing for low-level characters, but then I don't know what your
definition of low-level is. We're going into the Front Range Free Zone
with a group of 6 people (5 PCs) who have, on average, around 11 accum-
ulated (sp?) Karma. That gives us Karma pools of 2. We're hoping to
come out of the Aztlan sector with our hides. :)
For the dice pools discussion:
Yeah, big pools can be a pain. But 10+ magic pools (Mike)? Whoof! Are
power foci cheap in your world? We buy d6's by the block. 8^O But our
GM has more dice than any of us, and he's good at keeping track (uses
some custom SuperCard setup on his PowerBook). It's a house rules
call either way; we've stuck to the standard setup so as not to confuse
ourselves at cons. A good group can always work out a way to make the
rules bend to everyone's satisfaction, so that everyone can have *fun*.
Isn't that why we play?
For the science discussion:
Anyone else warm in here? :] Please, folks, let's put down those M-50's--
here, I brought Zippos for everyone! ;)
Thanks for running a good list!
