But! They use the same parts of the body to do the different jobs.

It doesn't matter if they are doing different things, they require the
use of the same neural pathways to work. As an analogy (probably WAY
off, but here goes...) If I was to use a fly-by-wire system in an
aircraft the control lines would go down the same pathways that a
fly-by-light's optical cables would go. Two different systems that do
the same job in different ways and for different purposes (or at least
disSIMILIAR purposes...) They are incompatible in that they are trying
to use the same space for two slightly different jobs. The same is true
of a VCR and Wired Reflexes. A VCR takes the rigger's reflexes and uses
them in a slightly different way then the Wired Reflexes does. Now, can
the circuitry that controls the rigger's vehicular reflexes reside(sp?)
within the same space that the wired reflexes circuitry does? IMNSHO, I
don't think so. To use one of you favorite phrases, Ivy, Your mileage
may vary.
