I seem to remember a couple of years ago, people on the list were working
on proper vehicle construction rules. Did anything come of that?

One of my players is starting up a rigger, and I am now looking at the
RBB and noticing just how screwed up their creation and modification
rules are.

If anybody out there can help me, or direct me to the appropriate
people/locations, I would greatly appreciate it.

No. It died. Creation by committee doesn't work.

Try GURPS Vehicles, it's not SR compatible, but it is a working vehicle
creation system.

Hi Chummer

The infos of the Vehicle project, could be foun via ftp (file KAGE.LZH).
During the programm it was not possible to create a working system,
but the file contains all the information gathered during the project.

if you have problem getting the file via ftp, mail to me and
i will mail you a copy. But this will take some time bacause i will
not be on campus for at least one week.

Both good companies, but you forgot Chrysler (I have much
experience with Chrysler vehicles, both as my own and through friends --
everything from a 1970 Dodge Charger to a 1994 Chrysler Concorde.)
Some time within the next few years (*grin*), the Shadowy Think
Tank will bring you stats on some of the great Chrysler muscle cars of
the seventies: Charger, Demon, probably even the Dart GT...
