Forget the decking -- we've got three or more sets of those already! :)
Write vehicle rules instead and email them to me to get 'em published! (more
or less) *grin*
I do think it should be a little less abstract than current rules, but it
should still use all SR stats for vehicles without inventing new ones or
doing away with some of the existing ones (though the latter isn't as bad as
the former).

I always wanted to do rigging rules :-) I think I'll give it a try... I
hate the current rules. Way too abstract.

Where are these 3 sets of decking rules? Are they available on the net?

If you have them could you please mail them to me.

Thankyou for answering my attack program staging question as well Gurth.

And also thanks to the other person who answered it but whose name I
can't remember (d'oh!) :-)

Well, there's the SR1/VR/SR2 rules, there's the decking rules in NERPS:
Shadowlore, and there's the ones I posted 2-3 weeks ago. Maybe there's more,
but I don't remember any at the moment.

Check the logs of around 20 July and you should find mine, NERPS Shadowlore
can be gotten from cerebus, and I think you've got the SR2 ones already :)
