I'm in the UK !!!

According to 'shadowland' it was out in the states yesterday, like
someone actually claimed to have it. I am hoping to collect a copy in
the next hour or so though it might take till tommorrow to arrive
will have to see.

Some of you see have shops whose distibutors use airmail. Very handy,
i was reading cybertechnology two days or so before i get the
impression it made it to some places in the states though obviously
those lucky folks in Chicago have an unfair advantage!

Should be here in Australia in a week or two. Another book to squander my
hard earned cash on.

Fade to the Black...

not at all- I live in chicago, and called all the game shops. answer; VR 2.0
what? Aparently, they calim, they only hear about new releases through thier
distributers, so I have to wait untli several weeks past the relase date to
get stuff. I help manage a book store- anybody have any good ideas about how
to become a distrubuter (and get stuff wholesale, and cool promos's)?

Good.... someone get it and tell me if it's any good. I prefer to leech
off other people's recomendations than get burned myself. :)

That was inevitable but one would have hoped your distributers had
the less distance to make things move. However i have seen shops in
the UK that take 10weeks to get things before (waiting till Febuary
93 for Grioire 2 was a real pain! when we had wordmans old kit list
dated 2 Dec 92 and he'd read it by then.) How however the local shop
gets things the week they first come out

Not a clue, but its probably not easy as they presumably rely on
being a limited channel to stop people getting arround them so they
can get their markup.

Holly shit, I have just gotten ahold of VR2 and those die hard
deckers out there had better be ready for a shock, the matrix system
has undergone a complete overhaul making it FASTER,LEANER,EASIER,AND
A FRAG LOT MEANER. But that is ofcourse what everyone wants isn't it

Ah, no, i did not mean to say "distributer"- i meant retailer. IE anyone know
any good distributers for FASA stuff? We want to consider retailing it, and
incidentally keeping a potion of the orders for our own use. Yes, your
probably right- FASA can't mess with every puny bookstore, and distributers
make thier cut on exclusivity.
