So I was rereading shadowboxer and then the VPR2 came up... just wondering
what was it exactly?

Also if some players had read the book also and wanted it would you have
allowed them to have it?

I dunno... it's been awhile but wasn't that the self-aiming device on the
sam's gun?

If anything I'd say no penalty for switching targets in the middle of a
fire-fight (if there even is a penalty)

In SR3, +1 to your TN per 2 metres between target, from memory.

According to Craig West, on 09-01-2006 06:06 the word on the street was...

You're confusing the penalty for a subsequent target with the number of
rounds you need to use on autofire to reach that target :) Each target
after the first gets a +2 TN modifier, and every meter between targets,
costs a bullet that won't hit anything. A smartlink negates the wasted
ammo, but not the TN modifier.

And that's for attacking more than one target in the same action. If
you wait until the next one, there's no penalty.
