There are more than a few.. Overall I'd say the proofreading for the first
printing on this was downright terrible. That and the art are my only two
objections to the book as a whole. (Kinda makes me wonder what they were
doing to justify delaying it for 5 months...)

I'm eventually going to go through the book again, and when I do I'll try to
sketch out a list of the obvious errors and any obvious fixes. I think my
favorite is early in the book.. Any reference to anything in the "Grids and
Hosts" section lists p. 14, which is the wrong section entirely. What makes
it more confusing is that p. 14 has a _paragraph_ labeled "Grids and Hosts,"
making me think "Great, they edited out everything useful!" >8->

Yo dudes.
With reference to the confusion and misprints in VR2.0 posted recently, how
long does it take for some 'official' corrections to be published or is it
a case of decision by concensus? In the past my gaming groups used to
improvise with house rules. I've only recently had access to a forum such
as this, so I dont know the form. Thoughts anyone?

I don't know if they will be. The book we would be correcting is FASA
copywrited. And (Gurth, you can correct me if I'm pleasently wrong) we don't
have authority to change and publish their material. We make and freely
distribute our own books via E-Mail.

Who is going to stop you from saying "I think <this and this bit> is a
typo and should read <such and such>"? If FASA doesn't bring out an
official errata you/we can always make a DIY one, can't you/we?
As for changing their material, people do it all the time. The way I see
it, any house rule that gets published anywhere is a change to FASA's
material. The only times that is official is if it's in a FASA-sanctioned
publications like Shadowland or the now-defunct KaGe.

I'd encourage anyone who spots what they think is a mistake in a Shadowrun
book to mention it here on this list, so we all can find out about it.
