Okay, this is a bit more than one might think. Though the end effect -might-
be similar, it wouldn't have the same fundamental cause. The "Predator" used
a low level em field to manipulate the visible light spectrum around it's body
in a multi-panaramic screen. Ruthenium tech requires cameras and a 3D imaging
relay network. The Predator's is -vastly- more effective, as it would even
bend illumination levels around it where as the RP tech would require some
form of backlighting to create the same effect.

I saw something on Discovery Channel. It was a series called Science of the
Impossible. There is a suit like the one the predator had in the prototype
stange. They actually showed the thing. It was very basic but you could see
they were on the right track. There were some other interesting things in this
series. I called about it because I wanted to record it.They said it wasn't
scheduled to re-air anytime this year. I hope they change their minds.
Facinating tech in a couple of the shows in the 5 show set and some eye
opening experiments in psychic phenomenon.

Hit the web site or call them again. They sometimes sell
videos of those series.

I know the way the two are done is different, but the end result looks
the same. That's why I mentioned it. So people could see that it's not
foolproof, but it does make you harder to spot(especially if you're not
moving).
