Oh wah!!! Whine some Firepower. If you don't like mages, nobody is
forcing you to play them. You're the one always telling me that a
mage is a rare commodity and normal people will never see magic in
action let alone a mage.
As for game balance, we have to have all that stuff to give us a
chance against wired reflexes and bone lacings and all that other
crap. If you want to talk about all-powerful characters, let's discuss
your vampire mage. How munchkinous can you get???
