I think that you'll find that in SR3 this is no longer possible. Spells are
no longer active astral entities like they were in SRII. The only way to get
rid of them now is to force the caster to drop them (eg knocking him prone,
killing him) or Dispell them. And in order to Dispell them, the Dispeller
needs to be on the same plane as the target of the spell. So an Invisibility
spell hiding a physically present sammy cannot be Dispelled by an astrally
projecting security magician.
