Subject: Weight and Astral Space

Does mass or weight have any effect in astral space. ie if a mage is
travelling at mach 2 and bumps into an the astral aura of a tree,
apart from the fact that he stops suddenly, is there any other
effect??

If so then the what is to stop someone drilling a couple of holes in
a tree, filling them with C12 and when your mage with astral
perception says so and so is there blowing up the tree. The wood is
still (theoretically) alive and these huge splinters travelling at
high speed through astral. (If nothing else it is good for a
distraction).

Can this idea be linked to the bio-grenade effect. Through most
probably not due to the heat would kill the cells (micro-organisms)

No. Except maybe disorientation because you're standing still in a fraction
of a second. You don't take damage because there's no mass in astral space.

the c-12 wouldn't have any effect since it isn't alive and doesn't effect
anything in astral space. but the mage/shaman ( can't forget them :>) ) would
probably roll an impact save. the only thing effective in astral space are
living things i.e. no machines, cybertech, etc.

Even if it were possible, I think it would require an _incredible_ amount
of timing (and good luck :) ).

no because you will see also when YOu are passing the street some trees
to move without a wind
