Somoebody (I forget who) brought up the Duchess of Harlech and the
alleged mining of orichalcum. First of all, it is Duchess and NOT Queen,
and it an English title, not Welsh. The legitimate Welsh royal
bloodline, the House of Aberffraw (sp?), is the only bloodline that can
lay claim to the rule of the royal house of Wales. And the House of
Aberffraw has been dead for over five hundred years. You know how Prince
Charles is also the Prince of Wales? The English stole the title from
the Welsh people to make damn sure the Welsh could have no king, ever
again. I mean, it took the English something like 400 to five hundred
years to fully conquer Wales. The Duchess is, quite simpy, an
elf pretender.

Second, I think I like the idea that the orichalcum is in some say left
over from the Fourth Age. I don't like the idea of Windlings and such,
but perhaps if thye really are mining it, and not simply manufacturing it
and lying about it, then perhaps it is a tie to the Fourth Age.

Wow, to think Erik, with whom I've debated vociferously in the past, is a
fellow Welsh sympathizer. And someone else noticed what those &*^%$ing
pointy-eared cultural grave-robbers are up to. Long live Glyn Dwr!

As a matter of fact, I guess I am a Welsh sympathizer. I figure I'm
about a fifth Welsh, and I plan to have the Welsh dragon tatooed on my
right shoulder. And I will die an unhappy man if I never get to go to
Wales, my spiritual homeland of sorts.

Could you guys talking about Atlantis change your subject title to
something else other than Re: Wales? Thanks.

As far as my idea for super highpowered initiate powers, two things.
First of all, do not ever accuse me of copying or otherwise mimicing
A$&$. I hate that game, and I haven't played it for years now. Second,
yes, thepowers listed would probably only ever be for NPC's. But at
least now we have a game mechanic to explain their mysterious powers,
instead of saying, "He can do it because I said so!"

Other than that, I'm just happy I didn't get nuked over the Thanksgiving
holiday...(I forgot to set nomail...)
