Do deckers need their arms?
One of my players had his arm shot of in a nasty gun battle, and as you
can already guess, he was the group's decker.
Now , this decker isn't rich enough to buy himself a brand new arm, he
definetly wants one though, and as it isn't such a problem for a good
decker to get his cyberpaws on some paydata, it ussually wouldn't be so
tough.

But can he deck without the usage of his hands ?

How about riggers do they need a complete set of extremities?

Only if they want to turtle.

Jan-bart> How about riggers do they need a complete set of extremities?

Yes, unless the vehicle's been refitted for the missing extremities.
Decking puts you into a virtual world; rigging does not.

Depends, most decks are keyboards, but if this character had a C^2 deck; he
would not need to use his hands.

I play C^2 decks using the cybernetic interface rules in VR. (Only thing
that makes sense). So no, he would not need to use his hands. Remember,
however, that real-world tasks have +8 modifiers to overcome the simsense
illusion.
