Subject: What's the value of the Shadowrun Sega Genesis game?

Hi all. Man its deadsville around here. I own the Sega Genesis Shadowrun video game.
Someone's enquired about buying it and my Genesis system from me. I wonder if any one of
you can give me an idea of how much to ask for them, together or separately?

Thanks for your time,

I paid for my Genesis with 9 games less than $15 two months ago. THe
shadowrun-game is more a collectors-thing...I would pay up to $20
(incl. shipping) for it on ebay

According to Stormknight, on 10-7-06 08:26 the word on the street was...

I'm not up to speed on actual prices, but I do know that old,
second-hand computer-type equipment generally goes dirt-cheap at flea
markets, etc. I can't really imagine someone paying more than a few tens
of {dollars|euros} for a 10+-year-old game console, even with games for
it ...

As for the SR game itself, I suppose this depends a bit on whether
you're selling it to an SR fan/collector, or to someone who just likes
to play Genesis games. Collectors tend to pay more :)

Ditto that. Course, I'm a Shadowrunner :) Someone who is just a
gamer probably wouldnt' be willing to pay more than $5 for the
Shadowrun video game.

Actually, if you're in the US I might seriously consider purchasing that
Shadowrun game of yours separately, Stormknight. I've got a friend with a
Genesis who's in my upcoming SR4 campaign we're starting up; he's a good
friend, and that'd make a decent half-serious gag gift for him for his
birthday. Of course, if you've already sold it, so be it.

Well the only Genesis game I have is Shadowrun (and possibly it came with
that Tetris-like crystals game), so I'd be wanting to sell them together. I
have to make the choice A. whether I wanna part with them, and then how
much. I would be selling it to my friend, so thanks for the offer but I'm
afraid he's got first dibs.
Thanks all, for the feedback!!
