Squirrel
I used the desc of the Squirrel totem in the Get of Fenris tribe (Ratatosk?)
book as the inspiration for Squirrel as an SRII totem.
Description:
Squirrel is notoriously skittish, yet insatiably curoious (which makes for
an interesting mix when role-playing). Squirrel is an Urban/Forest totem,
both can work as long as there's always someplace to climb & hide (or stash
nuts, trinkets, info, etc). Squirrel is the ultimate info junkie - the more
he knows, the happier he is, this can get squirrel into a bit of trouble
tho. Squirrel has a healthy sense of self-preservation as well, which
doesn't necessarily run counter to having to know (a shotgun mic works
almost as well as being there). Squirrel can also be territorial (defend
his hoard).
Bonuses:
+2 for Illusion spells, +1 for Detection spells, +2 for conjuring City or
Forest spirits
Penalties:
-1 for Combat Spells, Willpower (4) test whenever startled or involved in
combat - if failed shaman will flee; if cornered test again to see if shaman
will berserk to get free.
Favored Environment:
City (parks usually) or Forest
The totem has a slight chance to Munchkin if the GM can't control the
player, but any _good_ role-player will keep themself in line.
