Read the FAQL.
Chances are, you can't access it from AOL. I suggest finding a
real 'net provider if you plan to do much more than impolite EMail.

Is it only me or is everyone getting the mail from the list dated 1/13/1997?

Hmm, not here. But I do frequently get stuff dated for sometime in 1944
or 1945 (with the months screwed up too) but that is because I am not
using a Y2K compliant e-mailer and when I get a time date stamp that only
uses 2 digit years it doesn't know how to handle the date. I also send
out time date stamps with only 2 digit years on them so all mail I
recieve from myself appears this way too. It is possible you got a mail
from me or someone else with a non Y2K capable browser and that is how
your mailer chose to intrepret the year 00.

I don't think that's it. This is way weird,...the last 12 messages between
NeoJ-is-K and Sommers are all dated 1997,...oh well. Everything's okay now.

P.S. Off course I'm using a Microsoft product and we all know they control
time.

::kablinks:: Ummm...it's not happening to me... Might be one of those
delayed (don't club me for using this word!) y2k glitches. Nothing that'll
shut down your computer or anything, despite what the media would have had
you believe half a year ago... But it might be something that's messing with
your ...well no, that still wouldn't make sense. I'd call your ISP. Sounds
like something possibly wrong with their date setting. (I'm fairly sure
that's where emails get date-stamped...at the mail server as they come in...
Of course if your mail comes from one of those online guys like Hotmail or
whatever that's their to-do. Please don't bother yer friendly local ISP
guys! LoL! They can't do anything about it...unless it's their mail.)
