I'm hearing rumours that a new line of Shadowrun
comics is coming soon, and all I have to say is...

Why the hell didn't they ask me to write for them??

Adam, I blame you for this.

There's an old line? I haven't been following releases since about
2000, have there been any new novels or any comics at all? I saw a
couple new sourcebook releases, but haven't gotten around to getting
them yet.

Dunno about comics, but yes, there are still novels. Unlikely they will be
published in the US, seems like they are ADL, er, Germany only at this
moment.

There was a series of Shadowrun manga comics in Japan
(and in Japanese, obviously) - those are all I'm aware of.

Really? I never heard that before and a quick search at my favorite online Japanese manga
retailer didn't turn up anything. Of course, it could just be really obscure which is not
surprising considering the low quality of a lot of spin-off products. Even so it would be
amusing if I could track down a volume or two somewhere and try to translate it (not that
my Japanese is that great or anything, but I've been trying to improve it by reading
Japanese manga).

They certainly exist. There are also some other japanese-only products.

Well, it's apparently nigh-impossible to find. ebay or
the like would probably be your best bet.

Hahaha, excellent. The rules explanations with the SD characters are
cute. Not very well drawn, but still cute. And vastly superior to at
least 80% of the Shadowrun official art, I'm pained to say. (Do us a
favor. Kill Prescott.)

Oh, I remember those! I used to have a jpg of the cover (including
ISBN) but I lost it.

I remember trying on and off for years to track down a copy, but it was
a small print run by a small distributor, and tracking down anything
like that gets very difficult the longer it is past the print date. :(

I was hoping wizkids had put something out in the years I've been
gone... if that was the case it'd be easier to get a copy of it. :)

Hi List,

I still got those scans on my disk, so if anyone is interested mail me
privately, ans I´ll send you a copy.

The three pictures are about 300 kb total.

Greetings

Hmmm...

Well, you just let your bosses know I'm a big, famous
comic writer (heh ;) ) and I'd LOVE to write a
Shadowrun comic for them. Yes I would. :D

Given that none of my bosses publish comics nor have the rights to
publish a Shadowrun comic, I think your effort to bribe me will fail -
especially as you didn't bother with the /bribe/ portion. :-)
