This has nothing to do with the above, but it seems like a good jumping in
point. Is the Tir Tairninga(sp.?) book still in printing? Was it ever in
print? I've heard of it, but I can't find it for sale anywhere... am I
just not looking hard enough?

Yes it _was_ in print (other wise I'd have no way to explain my reading
of it, and the many times that I've seen it in the stack on the table), I
don't know if it still is though. I'd guess that it is, but I haven't
gone looking for SR books recently, least of all ones that we (as a
group) already own.

[SNIP locating RBB and TT]

If you don't mind ordering over the internet (and have access to a
credit card), try Discount Games.

http://www.discountgames.com/

They have a really good selection of in and out-of-print books for SR
and a number of other games.

Really? I just went there and didn't find a single out of print book for
SR. THis inlcudes both the ones we were discussing.

Oops, I guess I should have looked before I wrote. Sorry about that.
I think that they will try to order OOP books on request however (I
might be wrong about this).

Really, I can explain my ability to read cybertechnology when it
wasn't in print. My copy didn't have the art (just snide comments
from Tom about what kind of art to do and who should do it.)

It's not in FASA's 1996 catalog, so I guess it's OOP.

It must have been -- I own a copy :)

My guess is that it's no longer in print, so the only places you would be
able to find it are stores that haven't sold all their copies yet.
