Hey Everyone,
Having just gotten back into The Game, I'm still catching up on the
latest events. Like.....
I came across this article that Microsoft had purchased the
computer gaming end of FASA, and 'indefinitely postphoned' the release
of any new games in the works.
What's the deal with this? I'm not even sure if the new SRII
computer game made it out before before the revolution came.....

Sigh...

Should I sigh again?

That's how rumors start... IIRC, Microsoft MIGHT buy Fasa Interactive.
They MIGHT cancel Shadowrun: Assasin, since Chris Roberts is already working
on a cyberpunkish game. (and frankly, I won't shed a tear. I don't want
to play Tomb Raider: 2060).

They MIGHT. That's not "it happened" or "it's done". Watch it the
next
time you spread false facts about (also called lies).

If you're thinking of the site I'm thinking of (Which I'm not going to
name, because I wouldn't even think of endorsing them in any fashion), they
posted the info about FASA canning the SR computer game, then emailed
dr@*********.html.com (The entire crew of shadowrun.html.com, although I
answered the mail), and asked for confirmation of the story. Way to do
research -- ask the question after filling in the answer.
