What else can Wikipedia be used for for Shadowrun besides world building?
Could "Corporate", "Vehicle", "Weapon", etc sections be
added?

Wikipedia, from what I have heard discussed on this
board and from what I've seen of the website myself,
could be used for all the above and more.

Wikipedia could be used to post new Spells, new
Spirits, new Vehicles, new location archetypes (like
Airports, Churches (incl. Synogogues, Mosques, etc.),
Sports Stadiums, Museums, Movie (Simsense or Trid)
Theater, Schools (Universities & Colleges, High
Schools, Middle Schools, Elementary Schools,
Pre-Schools, Nursery Schools), Prisons, Government
Buildings, etc.). It can also be used for Game Masters
to access confidential GM material.

It could also be used to post stuff that would help
flesh out the Shadowrun world, like data on what trid
programs are playing where and when (and if someone's
in a place like the CZ, what they might have to do in
order to simply watch their fav sitcom), and there's a
whole host of Contact Archetypes out there but I would
suggest that all Metatype elements be removed from the
Archetype name and the basic Human Stats be given (or
a simple reference could be made to a similar Contact
Archetype already published (SR 1, 2, and Sprawl
Sites) with some modifications to the Attributes,
Skills, gear, etc. noted, that way people will be free
to modify that Archetype according to whatever
Metatype they choose by just applying that Metatype's
Attribute modifiers without having to take off the
modifiers from the metatype they did not want. anyway,
here's the contacts I am suggesting should be posted
on the Wiki Shadowpedia site in PDF format in the
above manner. I have not taken off the Metatype
designations. Straight Copy/Paste (from

Wikipedia is just another web publishing tool. The only interesting
feature about it is that it's relatively simple for multiple people to
publish stuff without version control issues, because you modify the
live site with version control.

I took a look at what was written in the Tir section
and checked out my copy of the sourcebook. Though the
FORMAT seems to be the same, I don't recall those
exact people or places in the sourcebook.

I have to recheck the copyright laws, but I don't
believe what was written here constitutes a copyright
infringement. It seems to merely to be in keeping with
the already-established Shadowrun® Universe.

I certainly don't recall anything about a MAX transit
system in the Tir Tairngire sourcebook ...

Two things:

1) http://wiki.dumpshock.com/ and the associated
subpages report the
following:

Fatal error: out of dynamic memory in
yy_create_buffer() in Unknown on
line 0

2) I took a big whack at the summary page on Tuesday
or so, and it was
vaguely organized into subpages. When the wiki's back
up, some
feedback would be appreciated. The big remaining
issues I see are what
to do with non-canon submissions, and what should be
done with stuff
like the Tir Tairngire entry, which looks like it's 5
pages quoted
verbatim out of NAGNA.
