William "Bill" Gibson is the man most people consider to be one fo the
founding fathers of the cyberpunk genre.

Titles worth checking out include -

Burning Chrome - a short story anthology. The first "real" cyberpunk
stories are found here. Be sure to check out the stories "Johnny
Mnemonic", "Fragments of a Hologram Rose", and the title selection too.

Neuromancer, Count Zero, Mona Lisa Overdrive, (and the fourth in the
series the name of which completely escapes me!) - are Gibson's
"Cyberpunk Bible" these stories are invaluable to anyone playing SR,
esp. if you are playing a decker!

Hope this helps, check these books out, you won't be dissappointed!

Its called IDORU. ISBN... wait, I'll go check... 0-670-85779-3. It's very
good - a lot more accessible than most of Gibson's other stuff.
