Well, before I get into this arguement, my source was the list of
totems I used that contained the stats for Wolverine- shows you how
reliable it is. Now, on with the show...
>+2 Illusion/City Spirits[for Cat]
Granted.
>+2 Detection/Hearth Spirits[for Dog]
To quote you: "Uh, nope..." +2 for detection, +2 for field
spirits, +2 for hearth spirits. That's +6... just like Wolverine.
>+2 Combat/Sea Spirits[for Shark]
+2 for Combat, +2 for Detection, +2 for Sea Spirits = +6
>+2 Combat/Forest Spirits (usually)[for Wolf, I assume]
Second verse- same as the first! +2 for Combat, +2 for Detection, +2
for Forest or Pairie = +6

Looks like we both are avid pracitioners of "selective reading".
In that case, any example would bounce, wouldn't it?
We'll consider this one a stalemate, since we were both wrong.
However, my point about having a +6D starting advantage not being that
big still stands. Especially if the character is prone to homicidal
fits of rage if his underwear is too tight.
