the ShadowTech I was wandering:
a) What exactly are the effects and use of Body Index?
I know nothing apart from it lowering the Magic Attribute.
Can someone give me a detailed description?
b) In Paolo's page there were some fonts, (francis*.*), but now they are not.
Where can I fid them?
That's all (for now ;)), the faster I get an answer the faster I'll
be able to complete the program. (not that you care of course 8-)

Well, the total of the Body Index cant exceed your natural Body, that is
your body attribute without cyber-enhancements, I cant remember if magic or
physad power will count. It doesnt subtract from your body, it just a limit.

And don't forget that if you go past your body index, you body goes into
shock until one of the bioware implants in removed.....

Boidy Index is a measure of Biotech in the characters system. In magically
active (meta)humans it reduces essence as cyberware. The biggest thing is
that it is if you exceed it (your maximum is unmodified body, no matter
what) you are in system shock, which means all Body tests have a +1 per
point exceeded to their Target Number(really nasty if you get shot bad).
It's all on page 6 of Shadowtech.

Body Index measures how much bioware there is in your body. It starts at
0, and its maximum is equal to your Body Attribute (and not the other way
around, as some people use it). Very simply, each time you add a piece of
bioware, something is added to your Body Index, like cyberware reduces you
Essence.
It doesn't really have any other function. In magically active characters,
a character's Body Index is also subtracted from his Essence, so
increasing Magic loss.

If there's not on his page there's a fonts file on my page that also
contains it, but it's rather big since it also has other SR-related fonts
in it. Or you could ask him to send it to you directly, if he still has
it...
I also came across the same font under a different name on some CD
ROM a wile ago, but I forgot the font's name :(

There are similar fonts, slightly different, called France, and
Frankenstein. I think France is on the CorelDraw CD Rom.

Also, Albertus Medium (came as a Hewlett-Packard printer font) is pretty
good and looks better on the screen than Francis.

Also add half body index to the TN for magical healing, making the
overall TN: [10 (or 8 if Treat) minus Essence] plus [Body Index/2]
