yah, an airport is planned 'dream island'
most of their costal areas also have regions that are 'dumps' that they
then build stuff on. That was one of the problems with the Kobe
earthquake, most of the infill moved around and settled a lot!.

Yup; Gomi is garbage, or kitsch things.. I've heard the word 'Gomi'
used to describe tourist souvenirs.
