Hi guys, for a tournament in my city I will be running a Shadowrun
Live Action Game. Everyone is going to be corporate bigwigs (ever
wanted to play Damion Knight) sorting out some big disaster or mess
that happened. I was going to just have Zurich Orbital blown up, but
then I heard the stuff about Year of the Comet. I figure Japan
getting blitzed and Denver being taken over, as well as the effects
of the Surge would be adequate controversy for the leaders of the Big
Ten to discuss. One Problem however
I live in New Zealand, and so won't be able to get the book for a
good three months at least. So I was hoping that those of you who
have or will have soon, the book in question, could tell me some of
the details of these events. I only really want to know the things
that the big boys would be interested in, and only the over all
effects, detail is not really required.
Any help would be great

Or, one of us could buy a copy for you and snail mail it to you.

Postage from the United States is $9.00 via Global Priority Mail (3-5 day
delivery time frame).

So how would you get someone the money. Either you could wire someone the
money, which is pretty costly when you think about (fees on your end, and
probably on the other end). You could pay someone using a service like
Paypal, though I am not sure whether Paypal is currently able to accept
payments from someone within New Zealand.

PayPal can accept funds from Australia, so it can probably accept them from
NZ, too. If you're signed up with PayPal, this is both cheap and fast. If
you're not signed up, you might have a few days delay while you get signed
up.

Drawing a bank draft or postal money order (in US$) is often a fairly
economical way to go, too - the fee is something like AU$5-10 (about
US$3-5). You've then got to airmail it, of course.

OTOH, I find that SR products are usually out in Australia 5-10 days after
they are out in the US. Of course, this was under the old FASA regime, which
probably had established distribution channels. It's anyone's guess now that
FanPro is running things :-). I'm investigating, though :-).

Do any of the German list members know if FanPro's online ordering site will
post things to NZ?

The other idea I just had was to try emailing or phoning Cafe Games Limited
in the US (see srrpg.com), ordering via credit card, and getting them to
Global Express Priority the book to you.

I think so, but international buyers have to use a credit card And it looks like
you have skills in German language also :-(

But I would try it, they deliver ASAP
