Subject: Elemental totems?

I think the Shadowrun designers knew that nature and the elements are
an innate part of shamanic tradition; that's why they put nature spirits in
the game. There's really no need, I think, to make elements into totems--
especially since totem magic has, to the best of my knowledge, always been
centered around animals and not aspects of raw nature. If you want, say, a
Sea shaman, why not make a shaman Conjuring adept and get Conjuring skill
concentrated to Spirits of Water specialized to Sea Spirits?
