I have two copies of SR II from Gen Con. The bindings are fine. Tom
Dowd has said that the story about the bindings is that they had some
problems at the BINDERS, not with the bindings. FASA had books all four
days of the con. They sold the first batch in two hours of the first day. The
remaining days, the books sold out in the first 12 minutes. I was in the group
of people trying to get a book Saturday morning and got one. It was a mob
scene. Fortunately, FASA had learned from the previous day, and had things
organized: Chains to create a walkway, books already prebagged, and Tom went
down the line counting the people in line, and when he got to 60 (they had
60 books that day) he told the rest of the people in line that they had no
more for the day.
There is already an errata sheet out for the book. They had one
at Gen Con, and further errata were mentioned by Tom at a seminar at Gen Con.
I didn't attend the seminar, but someone who did posted the errata on GEnie.
Tom has promised to post a full set of errata on GEnie soon. I can post
the errata once it is posted on GEnie.
