As I've just posted on rec.games.frp.misc, that rumoe is NOT true.
FASA had problem with the company which does the binding being late,
thus casuing the unavilabilities of SR II. FASA has been shipping the
SR II book as of a week ago.

No runs had gone back to the printer, it never got to FASA in the
first place. and FASA has NOT had any problem with the binding for
SR II.
