There is one time IMHO that a mage does want some bioware. That is
when the piece in question is the Cerebral Enhancement. It raises thier
Int by 1 or 2, INCLUDING in astral space. This can be a priceless
advantage when you run into some nasty in the astral as your initiative is
D6 plus your INT. Two of the full mages that I have use it. It also helps
with your reaction in mundane space which can be very usefull. (By the way
one of those mages is a combat mage, and the other is a troll. Both wanted
th Booster for different reasons.)
