I've actually allowed Physical Adept characters who took Astral Sight
to have a Magic Pool if they took Sorcery as well. They couldn't use it
for spellcasting and drain and such, of course, but as an aid for spell
defense, I think it's quite acceptable-- the Sorcery skill gives them
an understanding of magickal energies and the Astral Sight allows them
to target such energies as they come in. I think any player who would
be willing to invest that much of their Adept magic and skill allotment
should be allowed some extra benefits.
