Mailing List Logs for ShadowRN

About 6 months ago, I talked briefly about the idea of making another
listserver for "shadowbabble" like we've had this past week. Nobody
commented and I let the idea die. But now I am reviving it.

I think it is a wonderful idea to have it, but I fear we might get kinda
cluttered out a bit on SHADOWRN.

The rules of SHADOWTK@****.bitnet would be simple, it operates as a
fictional BBS system for discussion of things like "why did the Aztech net
go offline?" and things like that with everyone allowing the everyday life
of seattle and the world grow and evolve, while letting rules hashing and
things continue on SHADOWRN.

Now, I know some may feel that we can handle both with SHADOWRN, but I
guess I'd rather see it in a different forum for the simple purpose of,
for example, GMs could have their players read SHADOWTK to get a feel for
the seattle stage, while keeping rules hshing seperate and away from
innocent player eyes. I think a lot of fun and creative things could come
out of SHADOWTK.

One other thing as long as I'm here.

RE: replacing date and time in the LTG address

My understanding is that it is virtually impossible to do that because it
is a hard coded action. Now, I'm not trying to be a schmuck, but in all
of FASA's works, only Smiling Bandit has done it, I just find it
interesting that everyone is doing it now. *shrug* . . Oh well, just
being annoying I guess.

In any case, I would love to see some discussion of a SHADOWTK listserv.
I don't know exacltly what is required to get the listserv put up, but I
can write up an FAQ and introduction if people like the idea.

If you have any questions about what I mean or need clarification on the
purpose of this, please feel free to ask and I'll be happy to reply.

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away.
