I gots t' agree with ratinox and the other "uh-uhs" on this one. Seems
like this keeps coming up-- Magic and Tech are really, really exclusive
of each other. Even an organic processing machine, I should think, would
be incapable of even the most rudimentary magical acts. In a haze of
drunken idiocy, I might be talked into allowing simple organic machines
that would detect the presence of Astral entities not otherwise visible,
but I would quickly sober an eliminate the treasonous thought from my
head. Magic and Machines just don't mix. I don't think *any* computer
could have an Astral form, and that seems (to me) to be what magical
ability is all about. Any computer, even an organic one, would be a
shadowy block of inanimate Stuff on the Astral plane.

Seems to me it would be easier (and more useful) to look into the prospect
of living things that lack Astral energies instead of inorganic objects
that *have* them.... :)
