Dark Elf (What's you real name again?!)-------->
On the Banshee formula: I can't argue about weather or not an astral
mage can attack the crew of the vehicle, but I can address some of the other
issues. You would most definitely need a decker to get into the thing!!!!!
I don't care if it's not connected to the matrix, it still has an onboard
computer! Have you ever heard of a dataline tap, it works just as well when
connected to a computer's comm port or even the actual BUS of the machine.
Anything as sophisticated as a Banshee would have a security system running
in it's onboard computer requiring passcodes for operation. You'd have to get
past the door locks (electronics B/R or security systems specialization)
then deal with another passcode locking out unauthorized control use. The
easiest way to deal with this is have your decker pull out his microtronics
toolkit, pop open (or cut open) some service panels until you find a computer
line you can tap, go in and reprogram the sucker with a more user-freindly
attitude. (you don't have to guess at codes or rewire maglocks if you can
change the codes to whatever you want!)
Any corp thatdoesn't have some kind of electronic security on their
LAV's deserves to lose them. And any corp that doesn't have good electronic
security on their LAV's deserves to lose them too!
-------------------------->

>Let's see here... You're saying that a decker would be essential to
get into a Banshee? I think not... I'm a rigger, and could do it better than
any decker could. Who needs deckers? They're only puny wimps who think that
life is in the matrix... You guys have got to experience rigging man, it's
a great rush...

(Just for the record here are my skill ratings [don't say that I couldn't get
in the sucker!]:)

>Computers/SW>>10/12
>Computers B/R>>7
>Electronics>>9
>Electronics B/R>>9
>Aircraft B/R>>7

Now if you tell me I couldn't do it better than a decker, I think you're wrong
my friend....

>>--Tailhook

>(Sorry to all who I offended when slamming on deckers... I was in
> character... Tailhook only likes one decker [if you're out there,
> you know who you are!] and that's about it...)
