You're right. But enough on that. David Girardot, That was quite an impressive
post, I congratulate you on your work. To Seth Scott, I don't think that
these
people (myself included) play in a monty hall campaign, bu thave merely had
their characters for quite a while. The longer you play, the better you get.
The better you get, the less you die. They may also just play often. That has
a major effect on the 'power' of the characters. A skill rating of ten or
better is not unknown in my and my friends games. These high level characters
are
the really good ones, the shadowrunners that most shadowrunners aspire to become
like. They are not, and should not, be the rule, but rather the exception.
>Many characters have not merely increased their important skill or two
to high levels, but instead expand the character and buy some hobby skills, like
ballroom dancing, and even physical sciences. (usually for the fun chemistry
effects that you can cook up, non-destructive of course).
>To someone whose name i forget: Re: time/date stamp requirements:
>>See D. Girardot's post. and yes, they are decent requirements.
A decker should be good to bypass such things, w/o much problem, as in
Girarfot's oops, Girardot's post. But I digress, I must be off now. Toodles,
All!
